Tasmanian National Netball Championship 17U and 19U Teams Announced
Netball Tasmania are thrilled to be able to announce our 17U and 19U teams that will head to the National Netball Championships in 2025.
The annual National Netball Championships provide an opportunity for developing athletes, coaches, umpires and officials from each state and territory to compete, with one team from the 17/U and 19/U age groups crowned champions on the final day. 2025 will be the 40th year of the NNC’s.
Off the back of a successful campaign in 2024, our Tasmanian teams are ready to shine on the national stage. The following teams have been selected through an open trial process. A panel of selectors were appointed to select each team. This ensured all age eligible athletes were given the opportunity to participate. This has been the first occasion an open trials process has been undertaken. Netball Tasmania believe this enabled the selection of athletes to be transparent and fair, and has resulted in the best possible teams to represent Tasmania.
