17&U and 19&U
The 2025 National Netball Championships date and tournament venue will be announced by Netball Australia soon. Please find all information below on 17&U and 19&U trials and key dates leading up to the championships.
2025 State Team Trials
In 2025, Netball Tasmania will begin the State 17&U and 19&U program preparations earlier. This is to allow for greater preparation leading into external match play opportunities and the National Netball Championships.
Open Trial Process
Trail 1 for the 17&U and 19&U programs will follow an open trial format to ensure equal opportunity for all Netball Tasmanian registered participants to attend.
Following Trial 1, a State Squad will be selected of up to 20 athletes per age group to continue training regionally until the final teams are determined at Trail 2 on Saturday 23rd of November 2024.
Registrations to trial will be open from Wednesday August 21st to Sunday September 8th 2024.
Netball Tasmania will do our best to accommodate all participants who wish to trial, however a number cap will be implemented where appropriate and dependent on demand for Trial 1. Registrations will close if this number cap is reached prior to the 8th of September.
