Umpire Practical Development Sessions with our Secondary players
What would you like to achieve as an association, both short term and long term?
To be competitive in all age groups and have athletes in Tier 1, 2 and 3. Long term we would like to be able to provide our members with an indoor stadium. We would also like our updated constitution finalized and all associated policies in place.
One of your NetSetGo teams participated in the TNIS, how did the team find that?
They thoroughly enjoyed the event – both playing and the game that followed.
(The girls are pictured above).
You’ve had an umpire education session and are about to have a coach education session, how is the association benefiting from these?
We had 22 attended the umpire education session and with a further follow up session scheduled.
The coach education session, we had eight attendees from Devon, two from Circular Head and one from Burnie. It has also been identified through interest to run a Development Coaching Course, so we will be scheduling that for later in the year.
