Netball Tasmania is excited to announce the season dates for the 2025 Tasmanian Netball League. The home and away season will kick off in February running through until the mid-July.
This season will comprise of home and away twenty-one rounds, an increase on this year’s fourteen rounds. The Grand Final will be held in mid-August with the Annual Awards Dinner soon after. It was critical to Netball Tasmania that we provide a season format that enables our athletes and clubs to get the most out of their time on and off the court.
The decision to host a longer roster was made in consultation with our seven TNL clubs. The longer season requires an earlier start but will provide the teams a chance to play each other 3 times rather than twice.
The 2025 season will involve a number of specialty rounds, as well as a new addition, Opening Round. Opening Round promises to provide a weekend packed full of fun and some seriously good netball to launch the season! Games will be played across the state at venues in Sorell, Kingston, Hobart, Launceston, and Ulverstone.
