The Tasmanian Netball League finals series continued on Saturday at the Silverdome, with four thrilling matches deciding who moves on to the preliminary finals in both the 19U and Opens divisions.
19U Qualifying Final
Cripps Waratah booked their spot straight through to the grand final with a 43-35 win over Devon in the qualifying final, kicking off the day's action in a hard-fought game.
19U Elimination Final
Cavaliers kept their finals campaign alive with a strong 52-37 win over Northern Hawks in the elimination final. The Cavaliers will now face Devon in next Saturday's preliminary final for the chance to progress to the grand final.
Opens Elimination Final
In a tight contest, Devon got past Kingston Blues 56-46 to keep their season alive. Devon will take on Northern Hawks in the Opens preliminary final this Saturday with the hopes to secure their first GF appearance in over 20 years.
Opens Qualifying Final
The top of the table Cavaliers held off a determined Northern Hawks outfit, winning 47- 44 to secure their place straight through to the grand final.
Preliminary finals action returns to the Silverdome this Saturday, with Devon and Cavaliers meeting in the 19U preliminary final at 2.30pm, followed by Northern Hawks and Devon in the Opens preliminary final at 4.30pm.
