The team has won 10 of their 12 matches this season and hopes to add another two on the board this weekend.
Assistant Coach Claire Dennis said the team is tracking well and are starting to string together more consistent quarters.
“The defensive pressure of the side is a huge strength of ours and through applying this across the full court we are able to create turnovers”
“This weekend we will remain focused on us and on building consistently across the matches with an emphasis on executing the basic skills” she said.
In her first year involved with the side, Claire said she loves the culture they have created – from players to coaching and support staff we are united.
The team will play on Saturday night [7:00pm] as well as Sunday afternoon [3:30pm] after the great battle between the Magpies and Vixens at Margaret Court Arena.
The squad will remain the same for this week, with Jane Cook returning to the court this after illness last round.
