The Emeralds are heading off to compete in this year's Marie Little Shield late this week. Each year, the Marie Little Shield brings together female athletes from across the country with an intellectual disability to compete at the national level across three days of competitions. Representative teams from every state and territory will feature in the 2026 tournament, including Victoria, ACT, Tasmania, New South Wales, South Australia, Queensland, Western Australia and the Northern Territory.

The Emeralds take the court on Friday at 11.10am in their first match against ACT. Also on Friday, the team take on the Northern Territory at 1.40pm. On Saturday morning at 11.10am, the team take on QLD.
Following round three, on Saturday afternoon, Pool A and B will cross over. Stay tuned to the Netball Tasmania socials for updates on when the final three Emeralds games will take place.
