Lutruwita Netball team named to build on historic bronze medal at last years Netball Australia First Nations Tournament.
Netball Tasmania has announced the Lutruwita Netball team that will compete at the Netball Australia First Nations Tournament in 2026, with eleven athletes selected to represent Lutruwita on the national stage alongside three squad members and a team of officials.
The squad will be looking to build on a landmark 2025 campaign, where Lutruwita claimed a historic bronze medal.

The team will be led by Head Coach Fiona Geappen, supported by Assistant Coach Danielle Carstens, Team Manager Kellie Green and Physiotherapist Nicholas Cannell.
The Netball Australia First Nations Tournament brings together First Nations talent from across the country, providing athletes with the opportunity to compete at a national level while celebrating culture and community through netball. Lutruwita Netball is proud to represent the Palawa people of lutruwita at the tournament each year.
