The Tassie Emeralds head off to the 2024 Marie Little Shield in Brisbane this week as the first Tasmanian team to take part in the tournament since its inception in 2013. The team have put in the hard work since July to get ready to represent their state. Netball Tasmania are grateful for the support the Tasmanian community has shown to this team. Match Fixture
The Emeralds are in Pool A along with Victoria, Western Australia, and Queensland.
Pool B are New South Wales, South Australia, Northern Territory and the Australian Capital Territory.
The top two teams in each pool will face off in the major semifinals, to determine the teams in the gold and bronze medal matches. The bottom two teams in each pool will play the minor semifinals to determine their placing matches on the final day.
