The current fitness phase is taking not only the world, but netball community by storm. The all over body workout is fun, fast and effective – and in the age of time-poor workaholics, it ensures you get an effective workout without having to spend hours in the gym.
Suncorp Super Netball Athletes have been spotted taking a class or two, as well as many of our Tasmanian State League athletes.
“Using F45 when training for high intensity sports such as netball, will take your agility, cardio, core, jumping, speed and strength to a new level” said Field Reeves, owner of F45 Launceston and Kings Meadows.
Launceston based RACTI State League team Cavaliers, who as a club have a culture as being well conditioned, participate in F45 on a weekly basis as part of their training program.
“The Monday F45 sessions have really added to our program by providing high intensity interval training with quality support from the trainers” said head coach Dannie Carstens.
“Every workout is different and provides agility, strength, proprioception and plyometrics – many movements and exercises are netball specific”
“F45 really exposes younger athletes to the daily training environment, high intensity training, varied exercises/workouts and makes training more fun by being in a team environment and doing things together’ she said.
F45 training is currently available in Kingston, Hobart CBD, Bellerive, Cambridge, Launceston, Kings Meadows and Devonport.
