Quarter 1: 2 - 17
A fast start by the Giants saw quick ball movement and hard contesting which took Tassie a little time to settle. Good intent and continual defensive pressure created a few turn overs. Hayley McDougall found the ball under the post and was able to turn and shoot. Ash Turner replaced Jess Earney at GA.
Quarter 2: 7-33
Alex Vinen came out to GD for the start of the second quarter and Maddi Hay put on the GK bib. A number of changes throughout the quarter saw all players take the court.
Quarter 3: 18-51
An 11 goal quarter saw some great movement along the court with a run of four goals. Grace Pullen and Jess Earney and then Ash Turner combined well in the circle. Shelby Miller continued to drive hard to the circle, while Ellie Marshall gave it her all at WD.
Quarter 4: 29-63
A physical contest in which the girls did not take a backwards step. Finishing off with another 11 goal quarter, showing some fantastic movement across the court.
