The 17&U team will be coached by Alicia Sargent. Alicia was the 2017 Karana Open State League Coach, and is a former State Assistant Coach. Sheree Kemp, Arrows 2017 19&U State League Coach, has been appointed as Assistant Coach.
The 19&U team will be coached by Andrew Jackson who has guided Arrows Open State League team to the past 3 premierships. Andrew was the State 19&U Coach in 2017, and will again be joined by Assistant Coach Lisa Wheeldon who was also with the team in 2017.
In continuing our commitment to provide development opportunities, Dan Rodan has been appointed as an Apprentice Coach to the State programs, observing both programs. Jo Macdermid, Netball Tasmania’s High Performance Coach, will also travel with the group and provide support to the Coaches and athletes.
Netball Tasmania would like to congratulate all Coaches on their appointments. It is a fantastic opportunity for all involved and we thank the them, and other team staff (soon to be announced), for the time and effort that they put into the program and the development of our athletes.
