South East Suns

19U Season Preview

The U19s enter the 2026 season under new Head Coach, Mia Bourke. Along with her assistant, Marissa Brown, Mia has invested heavily into building a strong team culture and improved performance mindset - this team has a chance to redefine themselves.

Returning captain, Emily, brings a wealth of experience in defence and great leadership for the younger talent and new recruits.

The team consists of a blend of returning athletes and six exciting new players. Having the new athletes come in has increased internal competition, encouraging each player to push themselves harder during pre-season.

Joining Emily in the defensive end is Sienna, Annabel and Charlotte. Each of these players brings a strength that compliments the others and has a great mix of youth and experience. Returning players, Milly and Maddie add speed and fitness in the centre, with new Vice Captain, Chloe, providing a fresh, calming presence through the middle.

The strong attacking end consists of Zoey, returning for her second season in TNL, emerging talent, Summer, who comes into the team from the Suns juniors and new to the club, Caitlin and Erin, both bring accuracy and confidence in front of goal. It is very exciting to see the level of young talent at the club for 2026!
