The TNL 2024 Premiership's have been decided over the weekend. Cripps battled it out against the inform Cavaliers Under 19's and the Northern Hawks came up against their Northern Derby Rival in the Cavaliers.
Cavaliers won the ultimate prize in the 19's, having been tested throughout the game they cemented the lead in the last quarter and took home the trophy with a 5-goal win, 50 - 45. Sophie Brewer was a standout, winning MVP for the match and shooting 35 of the 50 goals scored for team.
The Hawks were strong from the moment they took the court. The Cavaliers fought back numerous times, but it wasn't enough to take back the lead. Hawks finished the night, taking their third premiership win in a row by 8 goals, 56-48. Co-Captain Tessa Coote was influential in GD and was awarded MVP for her efforts. Tessa was also one of three who announced their retirements on the night. Zoe Claridge and Keely Atkinson from the Cavaliers also retired on the night.
