Netball Tasmania Talent ID Panel

Netball Tasmania is seeking to establish a talent identification panel for 2025 that will focus on assessing junior netballers within the 13&U-17&U age bracket which will inform the selection process for Netball Tasmania High Performance Programs. 

The talent identification process will largely take place at junior carnivals held in various locations across the state. Some attendance at TNL matches and/or TNL academy games may also be required.

Below is the schedule of carnivals across 2025:

BNA: Saturday 5 April (11&U, 13&U ,15&U) - Sunday 6 April (10&U, 12&U, 14&U, 17&U)
DNA: Sunday 25 May (all age-groups)
NTNA: Sunday 15 June (12&U, 14&U, 17&U), Sunday 22 June (11&U, 13&U, 15&U)
STNA: Sunday 10 August (all age groups)
KNA: Saturday 18 - Sunday 19 October (all age groups)

In order to be considered for a position on the TID Panel applicants will be assessed against the following criteria

  • Level of coaching accreditation currently held (preferably Intermediate at a minimum)
  • Number of years coaching and playing experience
  • Ability to commit to attending minimum 2 (preferably 3) carnivals per calendar year
  • Capability to provide clear written and verbal reporting to Netball Tasmania Performance Pathway Manager and High Performance Coach following each carnival
  • Capacity to give unbiased impartial feedback and follow the Netball Tasmania TID framework

Ideally Netball Tasmania will be seeking to appoint TID panel members from a variety of locations around the state.
Successful candidates joining the TID panel will be compensated with an honorarium of $100 per day of carnival attendance with travel reimbursed as required.
