19&U Season Preview 

Karana’s 2026 TNL season marks the beginning of a new chapter. With several players aging out, this year provides an opportunity for a young and exciting group to step up, developing their game and build strong foundations. Pre-season has focused on establishing connection and trust.
Training has prioritised skill execution under pressure, fitness, and building effective on-court connections as the team adapts to each other and our targeted game style. The group has shown strong work ethic, willingness to learn, embracing the challenges competing at this level.
This season is built around speed, composure and building defensive pressure. The midcourt brings quick hands with fast transition, the shooting circle’s consistent movement with intent and timing are strong focuses creating space and opportunity. Defensively, the team will pride itself on a hunger for disruption throughout the court, with a persistent defensive end, applying strong relentless pressure to the contest. These strengths set the identity and direction for the season ahead.
This group brings versatility, adaptability and energy. This season is an important step forward, laying foundations for future developing athletes, this group is ready to push boundaries and challenge.

U19 Team

Opens Season Preview 

We have seen several changes to our team line up for next year. Returning from last season are experienced players Holly McConnon, Jess Byers and Chelsea Browning. Elevated from our under 19 team are Ebony McGinniss, Sienna Nowland and Caitlin Stevanovich and from our under 21s Piper Ling and Georgia Clark. Also joining our team for this season are three new players, Olivia Harman and Matilda Allen from Cavs and Chelsea Doyle from Kingston. They bring with them a wealth of experience and knowledge.
Our main goal this season is to develop a cohesive and competitive team with the emphasize on teamwork and building a positive environment for the future.

Not returning this season are Asha Ratcliffe, MacKenzie Banks, Mackenzie Stone, Madi Lamb, Mollie Dwyer and Alyssa Mustchin. We thank them for their contribution to our team and Club.
