This will be an online workshop that covers information about the governance aspects of your community club.  The topics covered in this introductory governance workshop will be:

1. What is governance and legal and regulatory compliance
2. The role of the committee and committee members
3. Planning for the club: strategic plan, operational plans, budgets and financial reporting
4. Risk management and internal controls in the club
5. Transparency, accountability, reporting and decision making

The online workshop will be conducted in an interactive manner with plenty of time for questions and discussion.
