Development Coach Workshop

Devon Netball Association will be hosting a Development Coach Practical Workshop on Sunday 25th August from 9:00am to 1:30pm at St Brendan-Shaw College, Devonport.

The course facilitator will be highly experienced coach and presenter Dannie Carstens.

This is the final part of achieving a Development Coach Accreditation, which is the second step in the Netball Australia coaching accreditation, and the first where you get some face-to-face contact and, more importantly, some practical experience.

A big portion of the course time involves you coaching some players, but don’t be put off by that because:

- it’s not assessed (you just get advice)

- you work in groups

- you get plenty of structure

Before signing up, please ensure you:

- hold a Foundation Coach Accreditation (you can do this online)

- achieve a 70% pass mark on the Rules of Netball Exam

- complete the Development Coach Course Online
