Cavaliers

19u Season Preview

With a balanced mix of returning players to the 19/U competition, and new athletes eager to make their TNL debuts, this F45 Cavaliers 19/U team is ready to make their mark on the competition right from the beginning. Dan Roden and Hayley Bowen take on the co-coaching role. With both coaches returning after the 2025 season, they bring consistency and a strong foundation of leadership and experience.

Assistant coach Jocelyn McKay makes the move into the TNL coaching space after spending the past few years coaching with the Cavaliers Development Academy (CDA).

After building strong on-court connections in 2025, Amaya Summers, Mollie Poulton, and Zoe Colgrave return as a dynamic trio ready to pick up where they left off. They’ll be joined by Amber Brown, who will add another exciting layer to the team’s attacking combinations. The midcourt remains unchanged with Ruby Jones, Macey Dwyer and Aya Cottam all returning.

In defence Grace Foley returns for another year, anchoring a young and enthusiastic defensive unit. After making her TNL debut last season Macie Petterwood is a welcome addition, while Alice Perry and Polly Carins step up from the Cavaliers Development Academy ready to make their mark.

With solid foundations and fresh talent, this Cavs 19s team is ready to take on the season with focus and determination.

Opens Season Preview

The F45 Cavaliers finished off an incredible season, undefeated and Premiers in 2025.

The coaching team will remain unchanged for the 2026 season with Katie Davis (O’Neill) returning as Head Coach while being supported by Shelby Miller taking on a playing Assistant Coaching role once again. Miller, a leader in Netball Tasmania, will make her 12th consecutive year at Opens level. We also welcome back Lynda Colgrave as a Mentor Coach. A recipe of experience, passion and playing experience.

Our goal circle remains unchanged with Hayley McDougall, Sophie Blackberry and Sophie Brewer all returning for another season. This shooting group will look to continue as a very formidable unit.

In the midcourt we see returning players in Shelby Miller, Dea Wadley, Ella McArthur and Shannae Heazlewood. All four athletes will bring their experience and strong work ethic to this part of the court.

Lucy McArthur has been promoted from the U/19’s and will bring an extra dynamic to this group. Her speed and change of pace will be a point of difference. Rounding out the defensive end will be State defender, Lily Case and new young gun, Grace Ebbelaar who was remarkable in her 1st season in the Opens team. We welcome Milly Harnett making the move from Devon who will be the youngest of the team, but certainly not one to be underestimated. She brings determination, athleticism and great ability to read the ball and create turnovers in high pressure situations. This seasons defensive unit is very young, dynamic and no doubt will be exciting to watch.
