The Tasmanian Magpies are back in Melbourne for their round 3 Deakin University ANL clash against Territory Storm. The Tasmanian based team currently sits second on the ladder, by percentage, and are looking to continue their winning form against a win-less and bottom placed Territory Storm.
The Tassie Magpies got the better of the Storm in both encounters of their inaugural seasons last year, with score lines of 21 and 15 the difference.
Defender Zanna Jodlowska is looking forward to the weekend and to building on what they have been able to create so far.
“We’re establishing connections and combinations on the court and we’re looking forward to another opportunity to use these and to play consistent netball.”
“It’s always a tough weekend, no ANL teams can be underestimated. You can see from the results as well how the games and score lines can change from day one to two” she said.
The team will take on Territory Storm on Saturday night [7pm] at Waverley Stadium and also post Magpies v Lightning match on Sunday afternoon [3:30pm] at Margaret Court Arena.
