What is Woolworths NetSetGo?
Woolworths NetSetGo is a fun, safe, social and active program for boys and girls aged 5 to 10. It provides children of all abilities with a positive introduction to netball and teaches them the basic skills of the sport.
Woolworths NetSetGo is divided into three tiers, Net, Set and Go, meaning that participants develop skills that is right for their age and ability.
What Woolworths NetSetGo tier is right for my child?
Where you start depends on your child's age and netball experience. As your child moves through the three tiers, they will pick up more advanced skills.
The tiers are:
- Net: perfect for 5 to 6 year olds and teaches fundamental motor skills through activities and games using modified equipment.
- Set: recommended for 7 to 8 year olds and focuses on practicing skills and playing modified games using a small ball.
- Go: recommended for 9 to 10 year olds and focuses on developing netball specific skills through modified match play.
